Make an eternal difference in someone's life

Volunteer with us

Our volunteers help lead over 2,000 men and women, the equivalent of an entire prison of inmates, to Christ each year!

Make Christmas merry

image115

We keep our volunteers busy at Christmas with dozens of Christmas parties in local communities.

Our tireless and generous volunteers:

  • Wrap gifts
  • Provide outside security
  • Usher
  • Distribute gifts
  • Sing in choirs
  • Preach the Gospel

Lead worship year-round

image116

Team up with four more volunteers and lead worship for our residents.

You provide the volunteers, and we'll contribute a ready-made order of service:

  1. Open with prayer and praise reports from inmates
  2. Lead songs and praises to God
  3. Share a brief devotional with clear points that can be remembered
  4. Bless the inmates with a message from the Lord
  5. Invite inmates to receive salvation from Jesus Christ
  6. Lead more praise and worship
  7. Conclude with corporate and private prayer

Be an angel at Christmas

What's missing at Christmas for children of inmates, ex-offenders, and those in rehab?

  • Not only a parent
  • But also Christmas gifts

Mission Gate's Angel Mission hosts Christmas parties and give gifts to these children.

We could not operate this special ministry for children without our volunteers from churches, businesses, and individual families.

Use the gifts God gave you to help others

Are you a good Bible study leader? A great discussion participant? Do you like to bring the Bible and its messages to life? We have a place for you!

Extend God's love through relationships

Building a solid relationship with a resident might be the first time they tried trusting someone. Offering wise counsel and prayer is always needed.
